Spring is almost here, and all across the country, farmers are getting busy! At Cheminova, we've also been busy adding several new products to our portfolio over this past fall and winter. Several of these new products are sulfonylurea herbicides that will offer corn, small grain and other producers some sound and economical alternatives to traditional weed control products.

For example, NIC-IT Herbicide has nicosulfuron as the active ingredient. That means NIC-IT will control labeled grass weeds that have emerged, and can help prevent yield loss due to grass pressure in field corn grown for grain or seed, popcorn and sweet corn grown for processing.

In addition to annual and perennial grass weeds, NIC-IT also controls several annual broadleaf weeds. Plus, NIC-IT has a new liquid formulation that works nicely in custom applications and makes tank-mixing easier.

We've also added several other sulfonylurea herbicides including ACCURATE® and ACCURATE EXTRA, REPORT and REPORT EXTRA, HARASS, NIMBLE and CHISUM. You can learn more about how these products will help your readers grow more efficiently by visiting www.cheminova.us.com.

At Cheminova we pride ourselves on both our people and our products, and on being a leader in marketing post-patent products in ways that bring added value to the end-user. We feel these new products do just that. And of course, we will continue to look for products that are unique in either formulation, packaging or with the services we provide.

In upcoming issues of The Byline, we'll be telling you more about these products. Thanks for the opportunity.
