*Note changes to Category 6: instead of just newsletters, it now includes magazines used in marketing communications and is called "Publications - print or electronic."

New for 2010:
We've doubled the categories - from five to 10!

Added this year:
Two Advertorial categories instead of one - enter either Cat. 1: Advertorial - One-Page or Cat. 2: Advertorial - Multi-Page/Special Section.

Two News Release categories instead of one - enter either Cat. 3: Feature Release or Cat. 4: New Product/Service Release

Cat. 7: "Best use of Online Communications/Social Media"
This category includes use of blogs and social media such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc. as part of public relations for a company/association/organization. You're asked to submit screen grabs or printed copies of the best of your online postings plus the Web site URL and on entry form and description page.

Cat. 9: "Speech/White Paper"
Enter speeches or white papers written for a company/association/organization and targeted to an agricultural audience, or to a general audience on an agricultural topic.

Cat. 10: "Writing for Special Projects"
Now a place to enter an annual report, commemorative publication, calendar, book or other special publication or piece written and produced for a company/association/organization directed to an external or internal audience.

For all MarComm entries, the description page for the judge has been expanded to up to one page to describe the entry's objective, target audience, where the entry appeared (for advertorial, releases and others if applicable) and key results in terms of how objective was met and effect of the entry on the success of a broader or ongoing program.

The MarComm Awards Program is sponsored by Farm Journal Media, Farm Progress, High Plains Journal, Meister Media Worldwide, Penton Media, The Progressive Farmer, Successful Farming/Agriculture Online and Vance Publishing.
